Re: It is absolutely disgusting...

  • Yes, the "ugly cry" days where you're crying just because you are so utterly in love are the best, aren't they?!

  • It's so amazing!! No one could have prepared me for this! I tear up nightly when I check on her before I go to bed... I just can't believe how much I love her, and that the beautiful sleeping baby is MY little girl! How did I get so lucky?!

  • Love this post!

Hold on to these days as tightly as you can.... yesterday I filled out a PRESCHOOL app for Nolan! It goes so fast!

  • I don't mean to be "that" mom, but EVERY stage I've said that. And EACH stage I've said "OMG, this is totally the best stage."

But I mean it when I say THIS (about age 2 1/2 to almost 3) is the most HILARIOUS and funny stage and most charming and fun stage ever. she tells me stories, and we talk, and SHARE, and anything that she says is the BEST ever. lol.  Today she sees a huge windmill, and not only KNOWS somehow it's what it's called (how?) but says "momma, it's not movin. how's the kids gonna get their 'lectricity for their potty rooms?"  Um, I would like someone to tell me how my kid knows this stuff. Who says TV's are bad? lol.

When gals on here get "surprise BFP's" I don't get jealous. I got my 1st. So she would be here to help me live thru this horrible rotten chitcrap stuff ;-)

I'm afraid I love my child more than you.  (wink)

  • Davez, the love you have for your child makes me smile everytime. I can feel it coming through the computer. And I have tears in my eyes now.

  • I feel the same way. Even on days like today where I am at my limit, sick as a dog and he is pushing every button I look at him and think "How the frick did I get this lucky!?!"

But Davez I have to disagree the 13months -20 old where DS threw tantrums because he couldn't tell me what he wanted/needed, those sucked! I loved him, he was beautiful and we had some wonderful good times but overall it was some of the hardest parenting I have ever done. I am sure that isn't the case for all parents but for me it was true. Oh and since he turned 20 months old, I freaking LOVE it again! I know everyone says 2 is really hard but so far I think it is easier.
