I have made a recipe for homemade ranch dressing a couple times and I love it. One thing that keeps me from making it more often is that I'm never sure how long I can keep it in the fridge. I always have a fear of eating something that has gone bad.
Take a look at the recipe (from Pioneer Woman). What do you think? How long would you keep this in the fridge before tossing it?
Re: Homemade ranch dressing - how long in fridge?
Well mayo and sour cream keep for a good bit but adding the milk to thin it is what I would be concerned with so probably however long your milk is good for would be as long as I would keep it.
You could always half the recipe if you didn't want a ton left over so you could make it more frequently but not worry about wasting it.
Man, that looks SO good! I wish someone other than me would eat Ranch dressing :-(
