DS is VERY hard with medicines. He spits out at least half and that's with crying and holding down. We've tried everything -- sneaking it into chocolate pudding or ice cream even. No dice. The kid knows.
Today he started running a high fever (103) from what the doctor thinks is just a random virus so he really needed some tylenol. But we know from as late as this morning we could never get him to take enough to make a difference.
Then I remembered something my neighbor swore by. FeverAll suppositories! Same thing as tylenol just goes in a different way. So just a FYI if you ever need it for a kid who is hard to give medicine to or if there is a lot of vomiting. WalGreen's has it, I know -- not sure about where else.

Re: Kids' medicines psa (xp)
Yes, I remember using smth like this with my oldest about 20 years ago or so.
Hope he gets better soon!
We always put any medicine into her milk and she drinks it. She would never take it any other way.
Hope he feels better!
