U-Verse customers

Anyone else having troubles with the DVR erasing recorded shows? Yesterday I went to watch Parenthood on my DVR, and ALL of my recorded shows were deleted! I was PISSED! I checked and all my scheduled shows were all set to schedule. I recorded Teen Mom again last night (TY MTV for replaying these shows) and it was on my "to watch" list this morning. Later this afternoon, all my shows that recorded last night and Teen Mom were all erased.

One of my co-workers said she had the same thing that happened to her. Hulu has been my friend right now.

  • We have had it happen.  We had to reset the box, press and hold the green oval button on the left until it goes off and comes back on, I think.  It usually fixes it.  We did have a box go bad and they sent us a new one.  Good luck!

  • I have loved my uverse for year, however they are really starting to tick me off. That same thing has happened to us twice in the last 6 months. Also, our signal is constantly cutting out it seems. And our internet? Don't even get me started!!!  Things used to be so good, I have no idea what happened in the 6 months. Their customer service is not helping.

    We have done this and still a no go. We have been U-Verse customers for almost 3 years now and it has never done this before. We did have a bad box before (not getting any signal at all) and they came to the house and replaced one.

  • I'm not very happy with UVerse right now. I just called them to follow up on the GC we were to receive from signing up with them-we still haven't receved it. I was told that 1. there was no note in the system stating that we qualified for a GC and 2. that we had been receiving a $25 new customer discount each month and that if we were to get a giftcard the $25 credit we are receiving would/should replace it.

    When I signed up for service over the phone, no monthly discount was even discussed, but I was told I would receive a $100 giftcard. Since our $25 credit is good through June, how does that equal $100, it way more than $100. After 39 minutes of holding and arguing, I finally got someone to credit our account $100.

    I was so mad, I'm not out to screw anyone, I just want what I was promised! The fact that they were trying say that the $25 new service discount was my GC disount made me so mad! One more issue and I'm done with them!
