I hear I should have baby tylenol and motrin but is there anything else? I have one of those essential kits with a themometer and nail clippers. I was wondering about medicines and things. Thanks!

Re: What are the must have baby medicines I need on hand?
Motrin is for after 6 months of age.
So...dye free infant Tylenol, dye free Mylecon drops, Childrens Benadryl (ALWAYS have on hand), Aquaphor (found in the lotion aisle-clears up mean diaper rash and great of NB chapped cheeks and neck), Triple Paste-best diaper cream ever for sore days, Butt Paste-my fav everyday diaper cream.
infant motrin
infant tylenol
gas drops (generic work just as good as Mylicon)
gripe water
saline nose drops
aspirator (the hospital one is the best though)
Not that it matter, because you won't need it right away, but here you go......

It works wonders for teething, because it works for pain and inflammation. Plus, it works way faster than tylenol. My DD has a bad reaction from tylenol, so we only use motrin now.
