I couldn't get a great suction with this either, but know people who have great success with it. I did however, make some hands free pumping bras using old bras that I had at my house. It's super easy to do. Just google it.

I took a stretchy tube top that fit me snugly and cut holes where my nips are, and voila! Obviously not for public use, but it helps around the house.

I couldn't either... I did use an old sports bra and cut holes by the nipples and can slide the pump through the holes - that works.

I tried it and it was meh. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing which is sit criss-cross apple sauce (yeah I'm totally a teacher) and use my knees to prop up the bottles.

I use this and it works great! It probably depends on your hair ties and body length. You have to have the just right distance between your pump shields and the top of your bra or the ties will pull your shields off or not create enough tension. You might need to mess around with different rubber bands at first. The stretched out ones I have overused for ponytails worked the best for me.
