Champagne at HCMC?

We're delivering in the Birthing Center at HCMC and have heard of people bringing a bottle of champagne to celebrate after the baby comes. It's a cute idea we're considering, but I'm not even sure it's allowed there. Anyone know?

    I think it's allowed at most places.  As long as you're not lighting up a cigar... most places will pretty much let you bring what you want.

    Just make sure that if you drink some, you tell the doctor or midwife in case you are on something that it might interact with.
