Wish the constant nose congestion would go away

Noah seems to always have nose congestion, for the last maybe 2 months. Especially in the mornings and at night. We do the saline drops and his nose bulb which helps a lot. We also do the vicks, the steamy bathroom, propping his head and the Vicks vaporizer.  It makes me wonder about allergies. I've read so many conflicting articles about whether they can have environmental allergies at this age. I can't wait till our dyson is delivered, maybe it will help us both. We run our air purifier at night. I'm pretty sure he's not sick. No fever and he acts great. We go to the pedi on the 4th so I'll mention it to him. I get scared that he will get super stuffed up at night when we are sleeping, so the drops/nose bulb has gotten to be routine. It hasn't seemed to affect his eating or anything, it just has me wondering and worrying about night time.

    I hear you!  My baby has been congested since the day he was born.  Nothing seems to give him relief, but nothing (other than the congestion) seems to be "wrong" either.  I think it must be miserable, but his pedi says its harder on me than him ;)

    I hear you!  Jones popped out sneezing...ugh.  I associate the constant boogery face with "daycare nose" though...he was congested and sneezy before, but not all snotty...eww...

    I would not stress too much.  Katie was the exact same way. It is probably not allergies. I have also gotten lots of conflicting info about this.   The pedi finally refered us to an allergist at 9months and she did not test positive for any allergies. We have cats and I was worried she was allergic to them.   The allergist then recommended a neck x-ray to check her adenoids, which were also fine.  At one year we went to ENT who recommended tubes (Katie also had chronic fluid in her ears).  Anyway the tubes finally cleared up her congestion.

    My dd is the same way.  We are just now getting through the stuffy nose phase. We were having major issues with it for 2-3 months.  We were constantly clearing her nose.  Hopefully your son's will clear up soon!
