Re: Help me choose a crib mattress!

  • We have the Colgate Classica III with Camryn and Moonlight Slumber (also dual-sided / foam / organic) for Brayden. Love them both. The Colgate is much cheaper though

  • The Colgate is what we have. For the quality/reviews and price it was the best option. Colgate is also the recommended mattress on the SIDS prevention site

  • Thanks ladies...I think I am going to go with a Colgate...now which one, not sure yet.  When I went to BBB to register she showed me the mattresses and swayed me towards the Monarch (higher end one..more coils, etc. also more expensive which I don't mind spending more money for a good mattress).  Will go back and see them and lift them in person to decide.  I have a $50 off coupon for "furniture" if it is more than $250 at BBB (mattresses are considered part of the furniture dept I think) plus the 20% off coupon...could be a good deal in the end.  We'll see.

  • I went with the Colgate Sophisticate....it was between that and the Monarch (top of the line)...only difference is the Monarch is a pillow top and the Sophisticate is hospital grade and sealed (more sanitary for leaks) and for $50 less I would rather that...I have a nice sealy padded mattress pad...Special K will sleep just fine I think :)  Now to put the crib together this weekend :)
