Pediatric Dentist---Greenwood area

I am looking for a Pediatric dentist near the Greenwood area. Anyone been to Ellis Pediatric on Averitt  OR there is a pediatric dentist on Emerson down from St. Francis just before you go over the freeway but I don't know the name.

Anyone have any experiences at either of these places or can tell me the name of the office/doctor on Emerson?

    I know that our dentist, who is off of Stop 11 and Shelby, has a couple of pediatric dentists in his building.  We will just be taking our daughter to him this summer though.  Our dentist doesn't think there's a huge need to be seen before 3 as long as everything seems to be going okay and proper home care is being given.

    I think I figured out the name of the dentist on Emerson by St. Francis... Dr. Annette Farthing.  Anyone been to her?

    I also researched Dr. Mark Ellis in Greenwood but I wasn't very happy with some of his office policies...mainly that the parents are only allowed to accompany the child to the first exam and then all future appts parents are not allowed to be with the child in the room. I am NOT ok with that, it should be my decision based on my child's needs not the office's policy. Especially since our son is only just over 1 year.

    The last DDS I worked for went to school with Ellis, we referred there.  I believe the other is Annette Farthing?  I think the office I'm currently at refers to her.  I have not heard anything bad about either.  I have heard horrible things from people who have been to Kool Smiles.

    I know they encouraged us to not allow parents in the back at the last office I worked.  I know it's frustrating, you may just have to call around.  Will your dentist not see him?

    My DH and I got to Hadley Family Dentistry so we'll be taking DS there but probably closer to when he is 2.5 - 3 year old range.   I love the office and both dentists are great there.  It's off of Emerson and Shelbyville Road.

    We see Dr. Ellis. I was rec. from a few friends on FB. I have heard bad reviews about Farthing. I heard she is rude and it always in a hurry. We go back to Ellis in a few weeks for their 2nd cleaning.
