Prepping used cloth diapers

I just bought some used KL0s, and was wondering, is there anything I need to do differently in prepping them, since I don't know (I mean for absolute sure) that the previous owner used CD safe products?

Do I need to strip them, do the usual several wash prep like they were new, or just wash them once?

Pour some water on and see if it soaks in.

If so, I'd just wash once. If not, I'd strip 'em.
