Quick Diaper Bag Question

Hi Ladies,

Sorry I'll be posting and running; DS and i are just on our way out the door, and the prep for this got me thinking.

I'm SO tired of taking a diaper bag AND a purse with me when we go out, so I"m looking at getting a bag that can dual as both, and work for just a purse if I'm not out with LO.

I'm debating between the Skip Hop City Chic and the Studio.

Any suggestions?

    I have a big Vera Bradley wallet that holds a ton of stuff. I just throw that and my cell phone/keys in the diaper bag, or put those things in my purse when I go out without LO. I keep chap stick, lotion in both bags.

    I have a Vera Bradley diaper bag and I use it as my purse. The only thing I carry for myself is my wallet, keys, and phone usually.

    I have a jj cole one... Its the biggest one, I forget the name of the style. It has like a "mommy zone"..the front flap is like a built in wallet with extra slots/pockets. I LOVE it.

    I like the JJ Cole diaper bags, but I'm saving up for a Juicy Couture diaper bag right now. Cute and functional haha!

    I keep a small makeup bag with my "Mommy stuff" in LO's diaper bag.  This way it's not only easy to locate, but I can just grab that and my wallet and dump it in a purse when I'm on my own.

    I usually take both in the car with me and end up throwing my wallet in the diaper bag. My phone is usually in my coat pocket, same with my keys and chapt stick.

    I just throw my wallet/keys/chapstick in the outside pocket of my diaper bag. I have the Fleurville Rerun in the blue Ogo print. Lurves it, but it doesn't look like a purse at all.

    I love my Skip Hop City Chic! I use the detachable purse part like my wallet/purse and take it with me when I don't have G. It doesn't hold a ton but it's great for credit cards, phone and keys.

    Honestly, I put my wallet and keys and phone in the side pockets of the diaper bag and just take that.  I can't remember the brand I have (I'm at work), but it's nice looking (brown and blue suede-type material).

    JJ cole swag bag. I love mine and get compliments on it all the time.

    I have something called a pouchee.  It holds everything that I need it to, and it has little circular handles, so that if I need to leave the DB then I can just grab it and go.

    I have this one too, it's JJ Cole System 180. It's pretty awesome, lots of storage and whole lot of room for my stuff too.
