Just got back from my internal and NST, both were great. I am 50% effaced, a little more than 1 cm dilated and baby is almost at -1 station. My ultrasound yesterday showed that LO is in the 81st percentile measuring 7 lbs 7 oz

. They are scheduling me to be inducted at 39 weeks if I don't go sooner...yay! Do you think that there is any harm in trying to speed up the process at this point, i.e. walking, having sex etc?
Re: 37 week appt :)

Honestly, you can walk and bounce and such but if your body isn't ready to go into labor... you're just going to tire yourself out. I had to learn this the hard way. There's nothing worse than going into hard labor and you've been up for the past few days walking and tiring yourself out.
Really, labor is going to start when it wants to regardless of the stuff you've been doing to 'help' it along. My opinion is that you should just wait to see if t happens. Sure, walk around, and sure, have lots of sex, but don't tire yourself doing these things. If your body isn't ready, you can't make it be ready.
