BRU and Target Completion Coupons

I know this has been asked several times..... but when do BRU and Target send out completion coupons? How close to your due date? My last shower is this weekend so I'm trying to plan ahead as to when I can finish my shopping.

My due date is 2/21 and I just got my Target coupon in the mail 3 days ago. As for the BRU one, I asked in the store because you can pick it up there. At first the lady refused to give it to me, but I went back and they ended up letting me have it right there.

We didn't register at Target, but we got the BRU one earlier this week. My due date is 2/5.

I put my due date ad Feb 1st to get it earlier in case I needed to still get anything, but as of now I still have not received either coupon.

I went to BRU last week to get the rest of the stuff I needed. They wouldn't give me my coupon in the store and said I had to wait until I got it in the mail, but I could bring it in with my receipt and they would adjust it. I got the coupon in the mail a couple days ago and took it in and they did adjust my purchase from last week.

Due date is 2/9 and just got BRU 2 days ago. A few weeks ago, I went in the store & asked for the completion coupon early and was flat out refused.

I got mine last week and my due date is 2/18. I still haven't received a BRU one....does Walmart send one out too?

They are both "supposed" to send them out 2 weeks prior to your due date.

If they don't, I know at least BRU will honor the 10-15% discount (depending on where you live) if you tell them when you order.

As an FYI though, Amazon might still be cheaper and easier (it was for me on almost everything) than your registry completions...be sure to check before you buy (if you're a bargain shopper like me!).

Another cool thing I have found out that works is if you don't have an item on your registry that you are wishing to purchase you can add it and the coupon will work still for those items still... Every little bit counts! I was adding items onto my registry with my phone while we were putting them in the cart the other day! haha

My coupons were only good for 10 % though - I thought we would get some better ones?

I put down my due of Feb 4 for both & I got the Target one before New Years. Our BRU store wouldn't give us the completion coupon when we went in even after talking to the manager, & they said the coupon wouldn't be sent until 2 weeks after your due date. I changed my due date to 1/10 and by later that week I had my completion coupon. I agree w/ PP that said to check out Amazon too. They had many things for cheaper, plus with the Amazon Mom free shipping and getting 10% off we got all that we could from there. Plus, we set up the registry & got the 10% all in the same day...sweet!

I got my BRU one in the mail yesterday and I'm due Feb 4th, so it was about 2 weeks before the due date. This worked great for me since my last shower was today so I"m going to go get everything else this weekend, if you're not due for a while but want to get your shopping done I have heard of people going online and changing their due date so they get it sooner.

Well my due date is Feb. 9th.....I called BRU and told them we had not yet received the completion coupon and they told me I can just come right in and they have extras at the registers and just to let them know when you check out. I actually received it in the mail a couple days ago, but we got everything we needed when we went there.

As for Target, I actually went to the store and they told me they don't carry the completion coupons and gave me a 1800 number to call - which was the wrong number. I found a number on the website called and they said that it was actually sent in the mail on Dec 20th (6 weeks prior to our due date). I told them I hadn't received it and she said they will send another, which I have yet to receive.

Hopefully this helps - it seems that many BRU are different, as I was able to go to the store for my coupon and some were not. I would just call first and check.
