Experiences with the St. Cloud Hospital?

Hey everyone!  I'm wondering if anyone has any experience/opinions of the St. Cloud Hospital.  I'm from St. Cloud and anticipate delivering here at some point, but have NOT had good experiences.  I'm wondering also the opinions on driving down to Maple Grove... not sure what to do I guess!

    You're in St. Cloud? I'm in Sartell!

    I delivered at the St. Cloud Hospital and thought it was pretty good. My nurse was amazing and it was EXTREMELY quiet.

    I had DD @ St. Cloud Hospital in 2009... good experience, but I want other options this time... SCH doesn't allow for midwife attended births and doesn't give the option for water births... the rooms are also really small (tough for a big family like mine).

    Baby #2 will hopefully be delivered @ Maple Grove Hospital - I am currently in the processing of transferring down there.  I will see a midwife at a clinic in Plymouth and then deliver @ Maple grove... and if all goes according to our hopes it will be a water birth!

    I love the SCH nurses though... they do have a great staff (I had my senior nursing internship on the family birthing unit!).  Most of the OBs are good too - but it is definitely "hit and miss" when it comes to some of them.
