gigi1979 (Bridget): admitted on 12/21 for PTL

Soon2BMrsBoylon: admitted 12/23 for severe PIH

Family hopes (Sam): admitted on 01/03 for IC w/ PTL

youngnewlywed: admitted 01/04 due to water breaking at 26 weeks

jlwolfe73 (Jennifer): admitted on 01/04 for PROM

klpalmer922: admitted 1/15 due to massive bleeding due to an unknown reason at this point

  • Question of the Day:
If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?

Thats a tough one! Lets see, I think I would want to have the power of becoming invisible lol. That way I would be able to go places and do things I normally wouldn't be able to do.

  • Question of the Day:If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower? I am always terrible with this question, because I can't ever think of anything good.  Maybe it would be super healing, and I could make everyone feel better when they are sick.  There is nothing worse to me than watching my DD when she is sick, and I would give anything to make it better on those days (she had the flu already in November and it was terrible), so super healing powers. I would also like to be able to fly, be invisible, and move things with my mind.  Then while being on bed rest, I could still fold the laundry and vacuum and do the dishes and get ready for this baby with just my brain! Update:  Well, more AW than anything, but yesterday was DH and my 4 year anniversary, so after a romantic dinner of grilled cheese and tomato soup he took me to Cold Stone for some ice cream and then the fabric store to get the fabric for DS's room.  Of course by the time we got home I was swollen and nauseas, so I went straight to bed, but it was still nice to get out for an hour or two!

  • Question of the Day:
If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?

Wow... I think I would wanna be invisible or be able to turn into other things. Strength would be nice that way when I need something lifted I don't have to ask my H. Or super speed that way getting things done would be a breeze and I would havve all day to spend relaxing.

  • Heather: Happy Anniversary! That's so sweet. And to have ice cream to top off the grilled cheese dinner along with the fabric selection sounds like a memorable anniversary.

    Question of the Day:
If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?

My superpower would be to tele-transport myself and whomever I touch, to wherever and whenever I'd like to go (hello vacationing daily on the beach during my bedrest...Now that's something I can lie down for all day!). Invisibility wouldn't be a bad either!

  • I'm here!

My appt yesterday went well. NST was great, and my ultrasound now places him in the 93 percentile for weight. Sheesh. LOL BP seems to have stabilized, but now they want to see me twice a week for NST's. Oh well, at least it will get me out of the house. LOL

As for the superhero question.....I always wished I could be invisible. Mostly so I could see and hear things that I never could before. It would certainly help in my profession. lol

  • Congrats to our new moms and I will definitely keep Payton in my prayers.

Question of the Day: I love this question!  I would have the power to move/reverse objects and time.  That way, I could prevent accidents, illness and have a cool cocktail party trick.  :)

Golly Gee! Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • Question of the Day:
If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?

This is so hard lol.  I keep thinking of superpowers I would like to have and then I think of the usual comic consequences.  I would like to be able to time travel or teleport, however I am afraid that something crazy bad would happen if I had those superpowers.  Like I would step on a bug in the past and everything would change haha.

Update: No updates here, still on bed rest and my next appt is on tuesday.

    Congrats to  nikinlove and curly_gurly979!

  • Congrats Niki on the birth of your baby and I'll keep her in my T&Ps. Shannon, congrats again!

    : Strict
    Reason
    : PTL and pre-e

QOTD: My superpower would be teleporting. I can teleport on BR, right? ;)

Update: I'm really sad today with the whole BR thing. My very good friend has her bridal shower and bachelorette party tomorrow and I can't go. I know she understands but I want to go and socialize. Also, we're moving today and tomorrow and it's soooo frustrating not to be able to do anything or help out in any way. My dad is leaving on Monday to go back to Russia and I'll miss him. :( My mom is going to be even MORE attentive to me...eek. Just a hormonal day, here.

  • Congrats to Shannon!  I can't wait to see pictures of your sweet Dahlia.

Nikki - you and Payton are in my thoughts and prayers.  I'm positive that she is one tough cookie.

Updates: Nothing really.  My DH is off for the weekend so I'll finally be able to see him.

QOTD:  This is a fun but tough question.  I think I thought of 10 different things.  I would want to have the ability to tell the future so I could not worry so much.

  • QOTD: I have always said I would have the ability to never have to use the restroom...people look at me crazy but I just say, hey, I wouldn't miss anything, I'd never have to wait in a long line again!! ;) And when people ask me how could that even be possible how would I get rid of waste I look at them and say, really, and how are you magically going to fly...let's not get into details. ;)

Update: Well I'm 31 weeks...back when PIH was first onset my doctor told me it would be a miracle if I made it to 32 weeks. Well...let's see how I do this week!! :) I think nesting is starting to hit me...I keep going into the baby's room and making lists of what I need and rearranging everything...and call it mother's intuition but I'm convinced I will have a Feb baby, ironically enough though I have said this since I first saw that first ultrasound and it was a little bubble...I told DH I said it's a boy and he's coming early. He told me I was crazy...now, he doesn't think I'm so crazy. ;) And oddly enough, I don't feel anxious about it, it feels...right (and I think to myself...how can I be ok with this, how can I not be worried about not going full term). How odd am I? Maybe all this bed rest has just made me lose my mind!!!!!!

  • Question of the Day:
If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?

    Flying of course!
  • Hey ladies!! I just wanted to come back and say to keep up the good work.  It's totally worth it!! I was on BR for 5 weeks for PTL, short cervix, +FFN test from 31 weeks. I delivered my twins at 36 weeks exactly and no NICU time.  Totally healthy, roomed in with me, came home with me!!  Hope this helps you get through it.  It is very tough on you, hubby, etc. Just wanted to give you a little inspiration to get through the weekend!
  • QOTD: Right now my super power would be a super strong cervix :)

I think it is starting to hit me that I am stuck in bed for a while. Also, I am starting to realize that having children in the future will be hard if it means 6 months of bed rest each time.

No new updates. MFM appt on Tuesday to check how everything looks post-op.

to fly. That would be amazing!

Update on me. I had a doc appt today and have made no progess. Its ok I didn't expect much but was hoping for some and that it would help with my induction next week.  The baby also had a super high heartrate so I spent all day in L&D. They believe it was from the sudafed I took (which they told me to take yesterday) but because he failed the BPP I have to go back tomorrow to make sure everything looks good.

Can't believe I'll have my baby in a week! scary!!!
