but do any of you feel the baby move, I could swear I felt it move a few times over the last couple weeks... With my first I didnt feel her until 18-19 weeks, and I heard that you might feel them earlier, but I didnt think this early... am I crazy??
Some people claim they feel the baby that early, but I'm pg with my 2nd and I still didn't feel anything until 18/19 weeks. Depends on the person I guess.
This is my 2nd and I am 17w2d and I think I may have felt something once or twice in the last few days but I am not sure. I think it is impossible that you felt something at 13w but I guess anything is possible.
I started around 13-14wks. I know it sounds totally nuts, but even when I went to the doctor it was kicking the doppler and my MW asked if I could feel anything because with how strong it was she'd be surprised if I couldn't. It was only every once in awhile, not every day and faint, but I could. Now at almost 20 weeks I'm getting flips, somersaults and little kicks.
Thanks! A couple of these posts make me feel less crazy, Im one of those people that didnt think it was possible, and they are faint and infrequent, but it just feels exactly like what I felt at 18 weeks last time.
I was 16w with my twins when I first felt them. This time I know I have felt LO move already! I have had lots of flutters today. So I don't think your crazy!

I think I've been feeling very faint flutters for a week or two (I'm about 16 weeks). Hard to say though. With my first pregnancy I didn't really feel much regular movement yet by 23 weeks when it ended. Last pregnancy, definite regular movement by 18 weeks and I think I felt occasionally around 16-17 weeks but not sure.
With this one I felt the "flutters" at 13 wks and by the middle of the 14th week she was kicking hard. She has been body slamming me 24/7 ever since! I do not remember when I felt my DS for the first time though.

There were a couple of times I thought I felt something, but this past week I've felt bubbles or the goldfish feeling quite frequently. However, I get some strong gas sometimes that could be mistaken for a kick.
After 2 miscarriages and a pre-term birth (34 weeks gestation due to PROM), our healthy baby girl is growing up fast!
3 more miscarriages and finally a correct diagnosis (septate uterus) and a corrective uterine surgery later, our second blessing is here!
I felt this baby much later than I did DD. Part of that is due to placenta issues, but this baby in general moves differently than DD did. She was always throwing a huge party inside, and this baby when it moves is very calm about it thus far. So I just think it depends!
I swear I feel flutters. But i have an anterior placenta this time as I did with my 1st so I'm not sure if I'm really feeling it. I hardly felt my DS with my first pregnancy. I was bummed to find out that I had an anterior placenta again.
With DD, I felt my first flutter at about 17wks. This time around, I felt this one earlier on by a couple of weeks. Nothing consistent or substantial, but definitely a quick flutter or two.
I felt the baby earlier this week. It is not frequent, but I know what it is. The doctor and nurse I saw this week both confirmed that I am not crazy. I felt ds#1 at 16 weeks.
I felt this one move at 12 weeks. I was sure beyond a shadow of a doubt, it was a very distinct fluttering way down low when I sat in a certain position. Over time the feeling got stronger and slowly turned into kicks.
I felt my older son moving at about 15.5 weeks.
When you feel movement depends on a million different things, the location of your placenta, location of the baby, your weight, etc etc. If your placenta is just so, then its certainly possible to feel the baby moving that early
It is so annoying to me that anyone has to be worried about being flamed by some know-it-all witches! UGH! Who made them the authority? Whatever, I don't buy it. Unless they have a doctorate or are Michelle Duggar, they can bite me! I did feel the baby for the first time at 12 weeks and 3 or 4 days. It was the night before Christmas Eve. I have 3 older sisters that teased me, saying "It was gas!" I was honest when I said...I am 27 freakin' years old, pregnant with my 2nd. If you feel bubbles or fluttering and pass no gas....and you are PREGNANT...right, it is probably the baby! HTH!
