I'm taking Clomid this month and had an HSG yesterday. After the HSG my doctor told me to come to her office on day 21 of my cycle for a follicle check. I've tried to google this subject, but still can't understand what that means. What does a follicle check accomplish? Especially on day 21.
IVF #1- Chemical Pregnancy
FET #1- PREGNANT!!!

Re: Can someone explain what a follicle check is?
after anovulatory diagnosis and TTC for 1 1/2yrs with several medicated cycles and one chemical pregnancy, we have our first bundle of joy!
IT'S A GIRL!
#2 EDD 2/5/13 dx with anti-BIG E antibody, seeing a MFM
I don't take one single minute for granted.
Ditto PPs, the follicle checks I had were transvaginal ultrasounds before I ovulated to measure the size and amount of follies I had.
It doesn't sound like you are being monitored as closely as you should be on Clomid. You may want to see out an RE (reproductive endocrineologist), if you are going to your OBGYN.
