  • I'm due in May, i registered for the March class because the hospital i am delivering at only had Jan, Feb, March and May available. When i called and registered in December, the January one was already full.

We don't have to pay for the classes until 2 weeks before they start, so best to register early and save your spot.

We are doing the 1 day Saturday crash course because we just can't make 3 hours a night a couple of days a week due to the times available and the location of the hospital.

  • I start mine at about 29w and it's 5 weeks long, so I'll be done around 34w. I would call soon to find out when the class schedule is and register for your choice because sometimes they fill up fast.

This. Depending on where you take them, classes can sometimes be the 4-6 week variety or the marathon weekend variety. If you're like DH and me with weeknight obligations the one weekend is ideal, but those fill up faster and, at least in our case, only offered once a month.

  • I'm due in late June and already signed up for all of my maternity classes.  Its best to do them in your last trimester so its fresh in the brain but its never too soon to register and set a date!  The classes, at least where I am, fill up super fast!!!!!!!
  • Thanks ladies! I called to get a list of what classes are left and you all are right they fill up fast! I am going to talk with hubby to pick a class now so we can get registered!
  • We just registered for our 4 classes today. I am due April 29th and will take them all in March. We are doing the Fri./Sat. childbirth crash course beacuse we could not commit to a month+ of classes. I would start registering at 6 months.
  • Thanks ladies...I registered today and signed up for April 9th...its a child care basics class that is one full day. We didnt have the time to do the longer classes...I am due June 19th...Is April 9th to late to take the class?

If anything, I'd say it's early! Take notes so you remember it all a couple months later. Wink
