My friend is pregnant, 15 weeks, and went for her appointment Wednesday. The h/r was 116. Is that low? She's worried sick about it, but her doc said it was fine. I have no idea because Miles was always speedy-boy...183-186 usually.
What was your LO's h/r and is 116 normal for that age?

Re: Heartrate at 15w
120-180 is considered 'normal'. Henry was consistently in the 90-100 range. He's fine
He does have a heart condition but it doesn't/didn't have anything at all to do with the rate at which his heart beats, promise!
ETA: I only mention his heart b/c I didn't want you to think "Omg, doesn't he have something wrong with his heart??" b/c of our whole PGD debacle... kwim?
I really do think he little one is totally fine. And, I'm guessing if she had something to eat or drink or moved around or whatever, LO's HR would have been higher. But 116 is totally fine. Only very slightly outside the range of 'normal'. Not anymore concerning than Miles' higher HR when you were pregnant (ie - not at all concerning!)
le sigh. I hate this stuff. And I hate when docs are dismissive.
I say if it's the baby's normal, then it's prolly ok. If growth is normal, everything else is normal (NT, measurements, etc) then to try not to worry. There's a range, and babies are all over it. I do know they "relax" 2nd tri, but to what? dunno.
but by all means, don't tell her my story. ;-( Just tell her I'm thinking of her, and wish her the very happiest and most boring full term pregnancy ever!
