2 weeks post D&C @ 12 weeks, (which was nasty painful and rotten) and I was given 7 days of methergine to shrink my ute, along with anti-b's. I bleed horribly for the 1st 5 days, stopped for a couple, then have had heavy spotting for the days since. dark cabernet red color. lol. (where's my brain?)
Now yesterday and today (esp today) I have HORRIBLE pain on the sides of ute, ok, let's call it OVARY pain, and tonite it's doubling me over. vike and wine are not touching it, and I'm in tears. I have not ovulated in months, and when I do, it's weak and does not hurt. Plus it's too soon for that. Last cycle was a FET. I have not a CLUE what this pain is. not prone to cysts. no fever. FUNKY pee smell. (meds?) no other s/s of infection.
I'm stumped. you try. Will call on-call OBGYN if it keeps up and I'm still conscious. lol.
thanks.
Re: Let's play "Guess my deathpain"
I would call. It sounds like a possible infection to me.
Hang in there lady! I am sorry.
I'd go ahead and call... but I'm a serial caller.
I hate that you are feeling bad, lady. You deserve a big break!
(Could it be gas? I hate it when people ask me that, but sometimes I get a terrible gas pain, but then I have a little IBS.)
Ditto.
You're a NURSE for crying out loud, T!!!!!
You're doubled over in pain this close to a procedure and vike isn't touching it you call or drive.... NOW.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
IMHO, doubling-over pain that vike isn't touching = a call. Sooner rather than later.
Hoping that you feel better soon!
They arrived at 36 weeks after PTL and bedrest for 14 weeks.
I have no idea what's going on with you body but you need to call the on call now.
I'm sorry you are in so much pain.

pain is bi-lateral and equal. I'm worried about some swelling causing ovarian torsion or something. I just paged the on-call. I hate to rush into the ER like I'm sure they'll suggest. Thanks to an early Jan D&C, we pay 20% for the rest of the year. GOod times.
And to my F5 twatwaffle, I know who you are, and so does the mods. f uck you.
That's how I felt when I got an infection from a burst ovarian cyst. I seriously thought I was going to die.
You should probably call someone....

this just in.... (someone make a beeping news desk sound....)
on-call doc (who I don't know) claims I might have a cyst. on both ovaries. causing the same pain. at the same time.
from a FET. which I had to spell out for her. twice. and explain. twice.
huh? I've been surpressed for months. Can I GET a cyst? (on both oves that come to life at the EXACT same time? lol)
but promises that cranked torques oves are rare. and infection sans fever is even more rare. and that prelim pathology came back on my D&C and congrats, it was NOT a molar pregnancy. nofeckingchit.
what a bunch of monkeys.
this day has really had a go of me.
g'nite ladies.

My Fav Thing about Spring is Easter Candy!
I'm so sorry, seriously can't you catch a break, just one?!!!
How are you feeling today?
snort.
this morning the pain is still around, enough to keep me worried, and warrant a look-see at the clinic. I'll call when they open soon.
I'll update here later, not that anyone is holding their breath, lol. I'm sure I'll get some lame "uterine dysfuntion" scribble and the recomendation of "light bedrest and push fluids" lol.
someone good at the body system please tell me if I can even GET cysts after being dormant for months, please. I mean, I have not stimmed/ovulated since, what, July????? this FET was from Nov. 2
update:
Went to OB, I have a large pocket of fluid in the endo part of the ute. they have NO idea why it hurts in the oves, those are quiet and fine. they'll watch it, and hope for no infection or need to drain.
a lot of shrugging of shoulders, and a LONG wait for a clinic visit bill. $
I hate them.
but I did get an interesting theory from my fav u/s tech about the baby's demise, which I'll share in a few, once the entire pathology report is in.
meanwhile, Yet ANOTHER story of the Stupid Ones That Work There:
"Hi. I'm your nurse today. How far along are you?"
"Read the reason for my visit today, please. it clearly says 'post D&C pain.' "
"Oh. So you're no longer pregnant?"
"That would be correct."
"Are your periods regular?"
"Um, Yes. When I'm not pregnant and all. "
"When was your last period?"
"June."
Pause. I swear I saw her counting on her fingers.
"That does not make sense to me."
"I know, it doesn't have to. just take my blood pressure please and ask me what meds I'm on, please. "
The cold has totally frozen their brains there. (FYI we're 30...I never get the better temp so I had to make it count today)
