I was totally SPEARED today in the 6-12 mo board (mostly by 0-6 moms tho). It was really crazy!!! Basically someone posted on 6-12 that the 0-6 is always full of drama. I responded that I thought so too and it was likely that they are sleep deprived and perhaps a bit hormonal still...not at all meaning it as a put down.

Next thing i know, I am being called out, and THEN totally villified because I called Kaitlin a hottie in my siggy. Now, I did that because when we were in Maui we were playing in the surf and she was pretending to be Hannah Montana, and it was really nothing. OF COURSE I am not promoting sexual activity for my 9 year old...seriously.

Then they said they wouldnt be surprised if she was making $$ on the stripper pole by 18. OMG! At first I didnt even want to defend myself, because it seemed so ridiculous...but just couldnt help myself.

Anyway, glad to be back here with the sane moms in the adoption board. Crazy.

BTW - does anyone thing I seriously consider Kaitlin THAT kind of hottie? Is my siggy offensive to anyone here? If it is, I will happily change it, I didnt even THINK that when I did it, I was just being playful about our summer vacation. Oy veh. I think they are proving my point. Immature and hormonal.

Anyway, had to share...if you want to check them out I think the post titles are kristenw05 and 9 year olds are never hotties or something like that.

Oh my!!!

Ok...not going to bother articulating everything that's going through my head right now, mainly cuz it's just not necessary but your siggy is fine with me. I hadn't even noticed that before and I always read your posts but even now that I look for it, I find nothing offensive there.

Oh, what a day!!! You were hung out to dry, weren't you.

People can get crazy and judgemental on these boards. Blow it off....it's not worth your time. That said, it's too bad you can't have good normal conversations on pertinent boards.

Sorry to hear about that. Some of these ladies can be something on these boards. I posted on ML about wanting to adopt in the future and someone tried to pick a fight....it was weird.
