A good year before we were TTC I started to go au naturel with my hair, but after many months of TTCing with no success I went back to being blonde. Now we're at the year mark and I still like being blonde However, I know that if I suddenly get PG I am going to have an ugly root line if I don't want to dye my hair for the first part of PG for the baby's safety. (I know this topic is a bit shallow, but, hey, I do want to look good!)
My question is what are your TTC hair dying strategies?
Re: Hair Dye and TTC
jms - the highlights idea is good, especially since the dye doesn't generally touch the scalp and therefore won't enter the bloodstream. I will keep that in mind when my lucky day comes!
Geordie - no worries! I am also having a bit of a down day and was trying to get my mind off ttc stuff by thinking about hair
GL to you as well!
After having my ET, I was given a FAQ sheet. It actually said that I could color my hair as normal ( and the guidlines are usually stricter for those with IF to prevent early miscarraiges).
