Thanks for the thoughts. Quick question for you...I saw in your siggy that you used intralipids. Does that mean you have the natural killer cells? I was going to try that at my Embryo transfer (intraplipids) to help with implantation, but with not so good news, I don't know if transfer will happen. TIA.
Re: ***STL34***
It is a bit of a story. My RE wanted to test me for Nka (activated natural killer cells). However, I take Humira for ankylosing spondylitis and Humira could cause a false negative on the Nka test (some REs treat Nka+ with Humira). I was asked to stop taking the Humira before IVF #1, but not soon enough to test for Nka, so my RE wanted me to do the intralipids anyway. According to my clinic, I am a prime candidate for immune problems because (i) I have an autoimmune disease, (ii) I have endo, (iii) I tested positive for a bunch of the APAs, (iv) I have had positive ANA tests, and (v) my TSH has always been near the top of the normal range (my clinic usually tests for anti-thyroid antibodies in these situations, but they didn't test this for me).
I took my Humira during IVF #2, but we still did IL.
For my, I figured if it is completely safe, can't hurt anything and might help, why not go for it. Additionally, where I live the Nka testing costs significantly more than the infusions.
I hope you get some good news on Saturday and get to go to transfer. ((HUGS)) Sending positive growing vibes to your embies.

Me= 37 and DH = 41
Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)
IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN
IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.
IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132. Lil is here!
TTC#2: Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.
IVF #4: BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #5: MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #6: (New RE): Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN
FET#1: BFN
Intralipids are actually used as a source of calories in some situations (nutritional supplement) and was approved by the FDA for that purpose a long time ago (it seems like maybe in the 70s). I couldn't get inurance coverage for it, though.
Sorry it was such a long story. It boils down to I wasn't tested for natural killer activation, but I was presumed to have it by my RE and thus given IL.
