Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Recommend your baby carrier!

My LO HATES the Baby Bjorn!  Any good baby carriers out there?  I take him to work with me and it would be SO much easier if I didn't have to hold him all day.

Thanks!

  • I love my ergo sport.  Well worth the money.  The moby is only really good for newborns.

You should ask the AP board this question....they are the baby wearing specialists!

Ditto! I really like my moby, but I will be switching to a woven in a few months. Also getting a mei tai though (probably babyhawk, but not 100% on that yet)...

  • I have a peanut shell, a moby and an ergo.  Ergo is by far the easiest to put on and is very comfortable, and I don't worry about DD's feet getting squished or legs torqued because she basically straddles my middle.  In fact she's asleep in it right now :)

The moby was awesome when she was teeny because it could be tightened to fit her 7 pound body.  Now that she's basically double that, the ergo is great.

This. I loved the Moby but my daughter hated it (covering her head and face in the infant holds). I know you can use the Moby even with bigger babies to the toddler size range, but I just don't know if I trust it. Just my paranoia.

I have an Ergo Organic now that she's bigger and holds her head up. She hated it when we first tried it, but I worked her up to it by wearing it for a few minutes around the house every day. She really likes it now.

  • DS hated the Bjorn, but loved the Moby.  Once he got too heavy for it, we got a Beco Butterfly II and he does great in it.  He loves the back carry now.
