I just ran off to the bathroom because it felt like it does when my period starts. I discovered a lot of stringy white discharge. No blood, no color to it. Could this have been my mucus plug or part of it?
Per my midwife, I started taking Evening Primrose Oil this week to help ripen my cervix since I've got an early induction scheduled. Do you think this is a good sign that it's working or just a normal pregnancy thing that I haven't experienced before?
Re: TMI: What does a mucus plug look like?
Yep, that's a perfect description of what I just saw. Thank you!
Yup. I lost mine in a couple chunks with DD, didn't go into labor for about a week or so. With DS, it was the gift that just kept giving...and giving. I swear I lost some of the plug all day every day for weeks. Grosssssssssss....
And I cannot believe you are so close! Wow!!
I was induced with Eve as well. And had barely even effaced when they started things last time. I feel like a first time mom as far as labor possibly starting on its own is concerned.
Oh, this is really exciting!
This is exactly what seems to be happening to me during this past week. Have to agree with the "grossssssss........"
