Audible popping noise

I am 33 weeks with twins, who have situated themselves almost completely on the left side of my body. They are moving like crazy and head down. Lately, about 5-6 times a day, I have been hearing a little pop noise from my belly. It sounds sort of like bubble wrap. My husband can hear it too so I am not hallucinating. Anyone else?

The cartalige in my pubic bone/area keeps popping as it seperates, could that be the noise you heard?

I asked my Dr. about this at my appt. yesterday, and while he said there's not really a known cause for it, it's nothing to be worried about. And while he said that it's a symptom he doesn't hear about very often, those who've had it have had gone on to have healthy babies.

I've been hearing it about 5-6 times a day for the past 3-4 weeks. It sounds like LO is cracking her knuckles in there!

I googled it and found a bunch of other baby boards where people mention it. All of their doc's said there's no real explanation, but it's nothing to worry about.

I mentioned it to my OB at my last appointment and she told me the same thing.

Freakish, though. I didn't hear anything like this when I was pregnant with my older daughter!!
