IUI tomorrow and Friday :/

I feel like they are triggering me too early. I went in today for monitoring and I had 2 follies at 15 (one on each side) and I think 3 at 13. The RE said he wanted me to go one more day if possible before triggering but if my estrogen was too high, he would have to trigger me tonight. When the nurse called, she said I had to trigger tonight. Last month I had 1 follie at 17, 1 at 15, and 1 at 14 the morning that I triggered and that didn't work so I feel like it couldn't possibly work with only 2 follies at 15 Sad
m/c 7/17/10
Dx: MFI- 3% morph
IUIs: Gonal-F + Ovidrel + b2b IUI= BFNs
IVF with ICSI= BFP! EDD 11/25/11
3/18- Beta #1 452! 3/20- Beta #2 1,026!! 3/27- First u/s- TWINS!
Our twin boys arrived at 36w5d due to IUGR and a growth discordance

FET: Medicated FET moved up to 5/23 due to ovulation
Transferred a 6BB hatched blastocyst- genetically normal female embryo
BFP! 5/28- 5dp6dt      
6/1 Beta #1- 223! 6/3 Beta #2- 567!

    I know it is hard not to overanalyze.  My RE considers 16 mature as well - for my injects TI cycle anyway.  Those follies are still going to grow more between now and then - the trigger will help them along.  Good luck!!!

    if it makes you feel any better i had a follie at 24 and triggered that same day, when i went back the next afternoon for the IUI it grew to 30!!!!  so you never know.  and i had one that she measured at 16.5 that the day before she hadn't even mentioned.  GL!

    Thanks ladies :) I would probably feel better if he was going to measure them again today but he doesn't do that. Oh well, I guess I'll know if 2 weeks whether or not it worked!

    Although it doesn't sound ideal, I'm sure if your estrogen level is of concern then he's probably trying to go forward in a way that doesn't get your cycle canceled.  That's what happened with mine, follies were the right size but E2 was so high I couldn't trigger.   Good luck!

    This is what I figured. A less than ideal cycle is better than a canceled cycle.
