Babies: 6 - 9 Months

worst x-rays to date...

So I don't have news yet to how the x-rays turned out, but getting them sucked. Claire developed stranger anxiety about a week ago and is especially bad when she is around men. Guess what our tech was? You guessed it, a man. Then add in to the fact because she is now six months they will do x-rays sitting up. Yea not so much. Pretty much she was stuffed in a tube while I held her hands up and she screamed. Made me want to cry right along with her. Glad it's over. Hoping it comes back fine and we won't have to go back for three months.

  • She had a tumor at 2 weeks old and it was removed. She has follow up x rays every three months.

  • We had to get x-rays done on DD a couple weeks ago and it was pretty bad. We had an x-ray tech who was in a hurry and DH got mad and yelled at the lady, lol, because she was making DH squeeze DD's head to hold it still. It was rough and DD was so mad and way tired, but atleast her x-rays turned out normal.

I hope your DD's come back with good results as well!

  • It was either hold her head stil, or have to repeat the image several times to get it. Like it or not, an upset baby for a few minutes is much better than being exposed to radiation because the parents wouldn't help hold the child still enough.
