teething = more spit up??

I was starting to think we're over the spitting up since 3 weeks ago when it significantly decreased-- ie, some days I wouldn't even put a bib on him! But now it's back in full swing... what happened? Is it teething? He has been gnawing on everything in sight, although he's not fussy. His head control is only getting better, he's sitting up unsupported, and he's started on solids twice a day (cereal, fruit, veggie). 

Anyone experience this?

    I saw somewhere recently they can spit up more because they're drooling more and swallowing it.  No idea if that's true

    LO has been doing this too. My mom says when they teethe it can cause them to spit up more...but who knows? Could have something to do with it.
