Gifts for 1 YO B/G twins?

Going to my friend's twins' birthday party this weekend...I asked her if she would prefer clothes or toys, but while I wait for the answer (and I'm likely to do both anyways!) I figured I would see if you guys had any suggestions for things that your kids love!

    How about coordinating bathing suits?  A friend of mine had b/g twins and I bought them bathing suits for when they were born.  It was that time of year when they just come out and all of the cute ones are out.  They were precious!!  Instead of boxes or bags, I bought two plastic sand buckets w/ shovel and included a bottle of sunscreen and split a box of Swimmie diapers.  I bought them to wear at 12 months.  They turned out to be really cute gifts and much appreciated when they were a bit older.

    My standard 1st birthday gift is usually the B. Parum Pum Pum drum from Target.  It's great for boys and girls.  So if I were going to a b/g twin party, I would get this and maybe an outfit for each of them.

    Our b/g twins had their first birthday party last weekend. They got all sorts of matching clothes and a ton of toys. And honestly? Their favorite were the helium balloons my mom got them. They have been dragging those balloons around the house by their strings for days.

    That being said, I was really hoping someone would get us a family pass to the local zoo or children's museum instead of buying each kid a gift. They are a little pricey, maybe you could go in on it with another friend? Just an idea:)

    They also each got a Little People playset that they love - Charlie got the farm and Lily got the little dollhouse. 

     But I also second the instrument drum - it's adorable and great for both boys and girls.
