Re: Does anyone else have round ligament pain?????

  • I am 7 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing round ligament pain since week 5.  But mine hasn't been nearly as severe as yours.  I wonder if this is because I go to a chiropractor on a weekly basis.  When I told him about the pain, he did a few simple, gentle adjustments to my pelvis and abdominal area, and the pain was gone.  I go to a wellness chiropractor.  Might want to look into it.

  • oh really i didnt know u could see one while u are pregnant. thanks i will try that lol i will try almost anyhting.i feel like a 80 yr old lady cuz when i first get up i gotta walk slow or it hurts to bad to move. thanks hun :)
  • I think I'm just about 7 weeks, and I have some cramping, but it isn't nearly that severe.  I'm not sure if its round ligament pain, or just my uterus making some adjustments.  Sometimes it's enough to make me stop what I'm doing for a minute or so until it passes, but it's mostly only as bad as some bad PMS cramps that I've had.

  • I've had pain since I found out I was pregnant. ( found out when I was 8 weeks) I have a dull aching and some sharp pains. It can be very uncomfortable and sometimes mine lasts for hours. I just put my feet up and try to rest...I haven't found anything that takes the pain away. Good luck and remember it is normal.

  • For me, RLP has always been a sharp pain on either side of the front of my abdomen.  I don't I've ever gotten it when I wasn't sneezing, coughing, or changed position too quickly.  Apparently it can feel like a dull ache too but I don't think I noticed anything like that last time or so far this time.  I've already had RLP a few times, though.  I will now be scared to sneeze for the rest of my pregnancy, because once the RLP goes away I'll probably start snissing.

  • I have had RLP on and off since finding out.  It is sometimes dull (like now whenI type this) or sharp when i stand up or switch positions.  LIke a mild cramping.  It is apparently very common if you search cramping on thebump a whole llooonnngggg list of bumpies with this symptom (esp in 1st tri) comes up.
