IUI follicles...

So I took clomid from days 5-9 and went in this morning day 12 for an ultrasound and I have 4 follicles rt side 15 and 17 left side 14 and 17.  Is this good?  My RE wants to see me Friday morning for ultrasound and blood work and will then tell me if I am supposed to do my ovidrel Friday night.  Is 4 follicles good?  Are the sizes good?

    4 follicles is a good number! I have never had more than 3 on clomid (50mg). My doc wants them to grow to 20 before we trigger. Good luck!

    They did not do blood work because they said that I have never ovulated before...I hope they are right!  I did 2 IUI's back in 2007 and they were BFN and we are told we had to go to IVF due to low sperm count.  Then we did did IVF's and on the second I now have a 2 year old daughter.  We did an IUI back in August but I only had 2 follicles and they were in shock it worked because the sperm count was 2.1 million....well it ended in a miscarriage :(  So the dr. said try IUI again even with the low sperm because it worked in August....I changed dr.'s that is why we are back to IUI and not IVF because this dr. wanted to try it because when my husband has had a sperm analysis his count was up...it really fluctuates....  Okay I know this was ALOT of blabbing but I am just nervous hoping they are right and I do not ovulate...I know I never have before....

    The most I have ever had from Clomid is 2.  My RE actually will cancel a cycle if there are too many follies because it is too risky.  I hope everything goes well with your next u/s.

    I hope he doesn't...I keep hoping he would have told me this morning when he saw the 4 if he thought he was going to cancel...instead he gave me my prescription for ovidrel so I guess he is planning on moving forward with 4

    I had 4 at my appointment today too, 16, 19, 20, and 24mm.  The nurse did the trigger and I go tomorrow for the IUI.  I had 4 last time I did an IUI also.  HTH!

    For CD 12-  4 follies at that size is great! The blood work is to make sure your hormones are in check with O'ing. Tomorrow's blood work will let them know if you need more time for your hormones.  Did they mention your lining? In some people clomid can thin the lining.

    Last month I was on 50 mg of clomid. On CD 13 I had a 27 mm egg, a 20 egg, a 18 and a 13. I trigger that night. My RE says anything over 18 is mature.
