2 years for me. My company is doing more than fine right now (I see the numbers, I know what's going on financially). They used to give raises in January so we are all patiently awaiting the news but with the month almost over, it probably won't happen. While I'm grateful to have a job, it just sucks that the employers have the upper hand now.
So what about you? When was your last raise?
Re: Poll: How long ago was your last raise?
over the summer, but I also got a promotion when our company was bought out so it all rolled in with that.
In theory I'll get something again this summer but I'm not expecting much.
2 years ago. We had a pay freeze last year, as well as removal of vacation time and 401K matching. Thankfully the vacay and 401K are back. I'll get my annual 2% raise next year.
Another question: how much is your average raise (%)?

I'm a teacher, so we get a little more with each year of experience. I should get a more substantial raise starting next August because I recently completed my Master's degree.
About 4 jobs and 10+ years ago.
Granted, my pay has gone up slightly with every new job. And in my current position (here 3 1/2 years) I was given a decent bump in salary to keep me after putting in my 2 weeks, although I wouldn't consider it a raise... it was more of a "Please don't go the place will burn down without you so we'll match the pay and up your benefits so you'll stay" which I fell for and never got anything that was promised. We've had 2 pay cuts in the past 3 years as well.
Basically I am only making 20% a year than I was first year out of high school and with no degree.
A very small one 2.5 years ago, I am not holding my breath for this year.
At the company I work for now, prior to the salary freeze it was a COL increase of 2-4%. I would be happy with 3%!!!!!
Historically, annual raises have been around 10%, and promotions come with a ~30% increase depending (base pay is fixed by level). Pay grade hasn't changed for promotions, but raises are now around 3% for this year, following our 2 year salary freeze. People aren't happy given that the company is doing well, but hey, at least it's something.

2 years when I started with my current firm. Last year I made my hours but there was a salary freeze. We don't know about this year, but I am not expecting anything because I didn't make my hours mostly because of pregnancy. So it probably won't be for another year that we will even talk about it.

we just got a 2% raise in Jan (all employees that have worked for over a year). before that my last raise was in Feb 2008 because of a promotion.
I'm a teacher and usually get a raise every year for experience (and the pay scale also goes up every few years for COL). Last year it was frozen though so no increase at all.
2.5 years ago. Our raises come at the beginning of our fiscal year, which starts July 1. Who knows what's in store for this year. They SAID that they would not do another consecutive year without raises. Morale is in the toilet so I'm hoping they stick to their word.
ETA: The most I've ever received was a 3% raise, usually it's 2%...and we don't do merit based raises. They contemplated it a few years ago and they received so much pushback that they abandoned the idea. In addition, we're all doing the work of at least 2 if not 3 positions at this point. The ED openly admitted in a board meeting that I was present at the other day that we're understaffed and stretched too thin.
