We got into a minor accident this morning. I avoided getting hit by another car but in the process, smacked a curb and fire hydrant. We did not hit hard at all but it did break the axel of my car.
Would your replace your car seats? My thought is that I don't need to but wanted to see what you ladies thought.
Re: Would you replace your car seats?
While it doesn't seem to me like you'd need to, if you have to deal with insurance anyway for the car repair I'd ask anyway. If they replace 'em for free, definitely!
Glad everyone's ok! We got into an accident that sounds a lot like that a couple of years ago (without Ella). Tiniest little bump, and Brian's whole axel was shot.
Did you physically get shaken hard in the car? If not, I'd think you'd be okay. Plus they are so expensive. It's not like you got rear-ended at 70 mph.
I have no idea how much an axel is--if it's small enough that it's not worth bumping up your premiums to make the claim, I'd probably keep them If it's $ enough to make a claim, see what your agent says and if adding those will increase your rate.
