this is what I get for taking a fake sick day

I teach 3rd grade and decided to call in sick today.  I had several small reasons for calling in, but nothing big.  I wanted to spend some quality time with DD before LO #2 gets here, roads are really icy today, I didn't want to do my bus duty, etc. 

It turns out that my friends at work had planned a surprise shower for myself and another girl for today.  So now I am missing it. Of course.... So here's my punishment for taking a fake sick day.

    Awe!  That stinks!  I wish I could take a real sick day, however, that isn't in the cards because I'm trying to save my PTO days for baby.  But my work is throwing me a shower tomorrow and I will be surprised if I can stay awake through it :(
