RP: Need some prayers :)

So, I am requesting more even though I just requested some for my dream job. The day after I applied. DH came home sans job. He got "let go" for no reason. None. No idea that it was coming, nothing. He worked for a non-profit and his boss was super paranoid about things. I don't know if she felt threatened or what but now dh doesn't have a job. She is very cold to have done this, she knows that dh is our provider. Her husband is a sahd. This was supposed to be a "family" atmosphere. I have been sick and really needed the health insurance and Finn probably needs tubes. We are basically up a creek.

DH was our sole provider and we don't have any savings. My unemployment recently ran out. We are putting our house up for sale. Hopefully it will sell soon. I may try to find some sort of part time job until one of us or both of us find a permanent solution but we need to cut all our expenses dramatically. Anyway, we could use all the thoughts and prayers we can get.

He needs to apply for unemployment. Also he may want to talk to the Labor Board. You really, even in a hire at will state, need to have a reason to fire/lay off someone.

And as for being a family atmosphere, as someone who works at a non-profit, they are often just like a family, a large, sick, dysfunctional family. but a family non the less.

Oh my gosh. I am so sorry. Can you file an extension for your unemployment? I hope one of you of you can find some part time work to get you to the next phase. I am thinking positive thoughts that this is a blessing in disguise and better things are around the corner.

OMG! I am so, so sorry! I agree that your DH needs to sign up for unemployment. Other than that I am at a loss for what to suggest.

OMGosh! i am so sorry. definitely try to extend your unemployement and have ur dh file as well. also, apply for food stamps and WIC, if your state has either. good luck to you and many prayers coming your way.
