How long did it take for the bleeding to start once you found out? I found out on Thursday that my baby did not have a heart beat and on Friday my HCG was 58,000. I don't feel pregnant at all anymore and my bump is completely gone.
I want to wait to miscarry naturally, but I feel like all I am doing is running to the bathroom checking for blood.

So sorry for your loss.
Once I found out, it took 4 days to start spotting/slight cramping. It took an additional 6 days to pass everything (most came out in one day, in a couple hours)

I'm sorry for your loss--my baby also did not have a heartbeat on Thursday, though my miscarriage wasn't confirmed until yesterday afternoon. I started spotting late last night, but my HCG was significantly lower than yours. Have you had your HCG tested again to compare? Your doctor might be able to give you an idea of how fast things will start moving if he/she knows how quickly it's dropping. Mine dropped almost 30% from Thursday to Saturday, and based on that my doctor told me I would likely start bleeding very soon.

I am very sorry for your loss. When I had my first miscarriage I waited...honestly just trying to hold on to any little hope. My husband was gone(Army) and I was thinking "well maybe the doctor is wrong." It actually took about a month. Which causes me to believe that baby held on a little longer than they thought. Miscarrying naturally was worse than giving birth honestly. The cramps were horrible. Nothing would take the edge off. I probably should have gone to the ER, but once I passed the baby the physical pain was over.
Once again I am so sorry for your loss.
I thought they would have me come in this week for another blood draw, but they are making we wait until next week. My DH suggested I call and just tell them I can't wait until next week.
When found out my levels, I momentarilty convinced myself that they were mistaken and I am still pregnant. But they tiny little baby we saw on the ultrasound machine wasn't moving at all--just laying at the bottom of the sac.

That made me cry...I am so so so sorry for you loss. My T&Ps are with you...
I'm so sorry for your loss and that you are going through this. This is all so fresh in my mind too as with many others on the board.
I found out that I had a missed M/C at 12 weeks (last week) as it was determined there was no heart beat (hb had been found at prior U/S) and growth had reversed (shrunk to the size from the previous U/S). I was devastated but it was clear that I was going to complete the rest of the M/C sometime.
The missed M/C likely happened at week 7 and I waited another week after finding out (for a total of 5 weeks from the missed M/C) to try to M/C naturally (with spotting and some minor clots throughout the week) but no natural M/C happened. Instead, I proceed with my scheduled D&C given I couldn't handle the lack of predictability of M/C at any time and the potential for not being able to drive home (I have a long work commute and have to give presentations all the time in front of large groups of people). For me, though I was prepared to M/C naturally and actually thought that I would go naturally just based on the amount of spotting, it was just going to take too long. I hope yours happens quickly.
I am so very sorry for your loss. This is how I found out as well. I knew as soon as I saw my baby lying still on the u/s.

I'm so very sorry for your loss.
Last week I was told that the pregnancy probably wasn't viable due to a suspected blighted ovum. My HCG on Thursday was 5500 and I was to have another sonogram yesterday, followed by additional blood draws this week. I began to naturally miscarry yesterday morning at 7w2d, but there has been no growth since 5w1d, according to the sonogram. So I guess it took about 2 weeks for my body to catch on.
T&P to you.

I found out on a Wednesday about my missed MC and started bleeding the following Monday. Unfortunately, it was taking a long time and I needed to have a D&C. My OB said it could have taken me up to 3 weeks at the rate I was bleeding and I may still have needed the surgery.
I'm so sorry for your loss and hope that your body is able to MC naturally and completely.

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this.
I found out I was going to miscarry almost a month ago and I'm still waiting for it to happen. I'm going into the doctor tomorrow for one more sonogram, then I'll go forward with a D&C.
I hope you don't have to wait long. It seems like most people wait a couple of weeks, max.
I didn't have my baby's death confirmed by u/s but I'm pretty sure that at most, he or she died a day or two before I miscarried.
By the time I started spotting, that night I had cramp-like contractions with spotting, the next morning I was bleeding heavily with cramps farther apart. The bleeding went down and the cramping pretty much stopped; and by 10:30pm I passed my baby. That was yesterday (1-18-11) that that happened and the bleeding is spotty now.
I am sorry for your loss and pray that the Lord's grace and mercy be upon you.
