Pregnant after a Loss

My stomach is uncomfortable--& a few questions.

My muscles feel like they're stretching and all day, I've felt like I was pushing my stomach out, but I wasn't. Anyone have a similar experience? Is my bump growing, or am I just wishing & dreaming, but really dealing with extra bloat?

And an additional question: When did your first Tri bloat simma down?

Re: My stomach is uncomfortable--& a few questions.

  • My first tri bloat went away at around 17 weeks, that's when I suddenly realized that I could take the maternity pants off and put my regular pants back on ( now, I didn't actually do this, but I could have!)

As far as the stretching, I have no advice, I'm sorry, but I hope it means you're about to pop!!

  • Yup, I get an uncomfortable feeling several times a day, especially if I move sudden or sneeze/cough. It's all good - our utes are just shoving everything around.

  • It's funny, I looked much more pregnant in first tri. I think most of my bloat went away at around 10.5-12 weeks.

And yes, sometimes I feel like that too! I'm like, I promise I'm not pushing my belly out on my own, but it feels like I am! Just our ute's making room.

  • My muscles felt stretched off/on during late first tri- but I didn't develop a bump until 18ish weeks.  So not sure if that was just wishful thinking or not.  My first tri bloat lasted from 7w-11w.  :)  Good luck!

  • I had that feeling alot, especially around 8 weeks.

I didn't have a ton of bloat during 1st tri, but I think it instantly went from bloat to baby somewhere around 14-15 weeks.

  • I'm feeling this exact way too. It seems to get worse by the end of the day every single day on top of RLP pain and general lower ab soreness. It has been making it hard for me to eat in the evenings too. I haven't seen much of a decrease yet with bloat either, hopefully it will subside soon.
