Question about Target and their baby stuff lately

The Target near me had all of their cribs/baby furniture on clearance and a lot of their baby stuff too. Does anyone know if they are discontinuing carrying cribs/changing tables etc? The Modela (sp) hands free breast pump mentioned on the Aug BMB was on super clearance.

Makes me wonder what my Target is up to! Confused

They might be getting rid of their in store baby selection. You know because it's so much better to just buy on-line instead of being able to go to the store to check the quality.

My BMB said that someone asked their Target and was told that they are in the process of overturning inventory as manufacturers discontinue products/come out with new ones.

Gosh I hope not, then I will be completely effed with registering anywhere. We have a Walmart here, but my DH and I hate that place & refuse to shop there. Guess I should prepare for not getting anything I register for since my family members will probably shun buying online......

New stuff is coming out. There was a huge clearance at my Target and that crap gets snatched up quick out here. There's a bunch of new stuff out now.

I'm usually a lurker, but my sister is a manager of a Target and she told me that they clearance all their baby stuff in January and July. I am waiting for July to make my big baby trips at Target. I love getting a deal!

Ditto to the all new stuff coming in. Mostly what they consider "gear." I will say, it has varied from store to store by the posts on the tri boards. Some stores are having awesome clearances while others aren't. I have 2 within 10 miles of our house (in each direction) and one had the clearance and the other didn't. Weird.

Yeah, Target clears out the baby aisle a few times a year. Although it's great for getting deals, it's not so great when you actually need something and the aisle is bare!

Dude you live in Targetville!!!!! I love taking trips over to the cities and seeing your 46 area Targets. I need to get over there apparently this month to see if I can score some deals. My Target is tiny and barely has anything in the store to begin with.

Ugh, all these posts about the wonderful clearances at Target are starting to make me mad. There are no such clearances at my stores! Not even good sales! Crying

DH said women in Kentucky need to quite getting KTFU so we can have some clearances too. Not sure I understand the logic, but its still funny.
