ANXIOUS! ~ 1st appt TTC for 4 months now :(

I am so nervous and anxious, I have my 1st infertility specialist appointment tomorrow!!!!! Surprise

 I have Wegener's Granulomatosis dx in 2001 (in remission now), kidney transplant recipient (2006)...i was on chemotheraphy drugs in the past (CYTOXAN-might have caused the 'infertility') BUT im hoping my infertility is due to being on the depo-shot for 3 years (no periods in the last 3 yrs).

My FSH Levels came back High in November: 136 and a retest showed a 119.

My husband's SA is normal so thats good! Im 31, he is 27....

My health history is such a big mess, I overcame it all but now that we try to have a family at the right time we are having Trouble Trying To Conceive....SUCKS!!

    Sounds like you have been through a lot, hopefully all the tests will be okay and you won't have any more challenges!

    its been crazy!

    I got my FSH levels results and 'bad news' the week before xmas...ugh! it was a very emotional time for me!

     Im a little scared of a pregnancy and how hard it is on the body but I want to be able to try at least once!

    hubby and i have talked about the option of surrogacy and he is ok with it since it will help save my body from all the stress a pregnancy cause ... so we'll see

    gotta get through tomorrow first :)

    Good Luck to you in whatever you choose, once you get your testing done and a plan in place you will most likely feel much much better :)

    IUIs #1-3 (1x unmedicated, 2x Clomid) = 2 BFNs, 1 m/c at 7w3d
    IUIs #4-6 (injects) = 3 BFNs
    IVF #1 = BFN
    FET #1 = BFN
    FET #2 = BFN
    IVF #2 = BFP, b/g twins lost at 20w due to partial abruption/PPROM
    IVF #3 = c/p 5w2d
    Long-shot Clomid/Prednisone cycle before next IVF = BFP, our beautiful, healthy girl born 6/26/13!

    TTC again March 2014
    FET #3 - May/June 2014     -     all embryos arrested before xfer - back to the drawing board...
    IVF #4 - July/August 2014

    I just wanted to say good luck!  My husband had a kidney transplant last February and that's a lot in addition to everthing else!  Good luck with all of your testing.
    TTC #1 since 4/09
    2/21/11: IVF #1 Begins and results in TWINS!
    11/4/11: The twins are born at 36w4d!
    11/5/11: We said goodbye to our sweet baby girl as she was born with multiple complications and a severe heart defect, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.

    I was just getting ready to post to see if anyone has an autoimmune kidney disease or vasculitis then I read your post. It is so rare to see someone that has a similar condition.  I wish you the best at your appointment tomorrow!
