Can anyone point me to a study that shows cloth diapering children do NOT grow up with bowed legs and motor difficulties? A family member was telling me my baby can't move her legs freely (she can when her bulky overnight diaper is off!) and is going to end up with a crooked spine from being arched up on her back in her fluffy butt all night.
Re: "she's going to be deformed"
We all wore cloth diapers and we can walk fine can't we? I would just say something like that. But, I'm snarky like that.
...Baby Blog...CD Blog...
People are crazy.
Our friends told us that DD was going to have crooked legs because she was rear-facing until around 2.5 years of age.
sorry, I don't have a study, but I was just going to say that is such a sh*tty thing to say to a new mom!
If it were me I'd probably say something snarky.

This! Every single human being born between the invention of cloth and Gen X was CD'd... And while they might nit have had MF I can guarantee a WAD of cloth friom 100 years ago wasn't LESS bulky!
Where did he get this information? Is he able to verify his sources from current scientific medical journals.... what a load of crap.
I went through google scholar- searching for any scholarly articles and journals that indicate any relationship between a spinal defect as a result of cloth diapering...and there is nothing.
Tell him he is a moron and to keep his moronic statements to himself!
