Poll: Now a question about due dates/second children

Is it true that second children usually come earlier than the first? Or those of you that have had second children, did they come around the same time or later than the first? (let me know if you were induced or had a c-section.)

I'm curious if this baby will come early since I had Kennedy a week early, or if that's just an old wives tale that second kids come earlier.

As you know I don't know from personal experience, but when Vicki had Savannah she was 3 weeks early and McLain was 5 weeks early. So for her it was true that her second child came earlier. I have been worried about my little one coming early since hers were early, but my Mom said all three of us were 8 days late. So I think it is different for everyone.

I obviously can't speak from experience either, but I can tell you that my friend's 5th baby came the latest of all her babies!

My mother had all 3 of us 7 days after her EDD. My sister had her oldest 3 days late, and her next 2 were exactly 2 weeks early. So, you never know!

My brother(who is older) was 6 days late, and I was a week early so it proved true for us, however, Wes was born really early (27 weeks) but his little brother was almost 2 weeks late. I think it's a toss up lol just like everything else pregnancy.
