Everybody poops BUT how many times is the question.
Lately Sydney has been a pooping machine. We don't call her "Super-Duper-Sydney-Pooper" for nothing. She averages four to five times a day. I think it's normal, same as going once a day (as I'm sure some LO's do). It's just that it is driving me crazy. I feel like I am on high alert all the time. She never used to get rashes, but she has been lately.
I wonder if it's related to teething? Or her diet?
Okay, vent over. Thanks for listening to me talk about poop
Re: Can we talk poop please?
What goes in must come out. :-)
Robby goes through stages where he is a pooping machine. It's not uncommon to have 4/day if he's trying new foods. Sometimes I think I change him before he's done so it may be one big poop divided into two diapers.
I try to keep Robby's buns lubed up so there is a barrier. Wipes can be really harsh with so many diaper changes.
As long as her poops are runny, I wouldn't worry about it.
Hey, at least you don't have to worry about constipation :-)

T has been pooping more than once a day here recently. She has even started going to the corner by the heating vent to do her business. I think the change is diet for T. We have been introducing whole milk since her year check up. She eats everything we eat and still BF in the morning and before bed. I have noticed different foods will cause a rash faster than others.
She has been drinking a lot more milk since we are almost completely off formula. She tries new foods all the time too. She rarely turns her nose up at anything. I don't know. I guess it's what Kari said... what goes in must come out. She eats a lot!
Keegan is a one pooper kind of kid now, but he has gone through a stage or two during teething where he pooped 4-5 times a day for a few days.
With my 2nd son, you still don't know what you will get when he sits on the potty ; )
I thought it might be related to teething. Something tells me it has something to do with it at least!
& the poor boy had the worst diaper rashes too at this time ; ( I really don't like teething!

Margaux started at once every few days, tehn for a while it was once a day, then twice a day, and now, well... 3 or 4. All different consistencies and stinkiness levels, too, from pellets to hummus. AND sometimes I don't see her do the poop face, so she marinates until I smell something funky.
I think I may actually need to buy a diaper pail.
