  YAY! It's about time. I have to say that one of the good things about the hospital where I work is that they believe that you family is whoever you say your family is and have had visitation to that effect for years. But I am glad that the hospitals who just don't get it are being moved along in the right direction.

  I think we are having a great year....(referring to the repeal of DADT as well)

  I am happy to see another step in the right direction in the US!  I will never take the rights that I am afforded as a Canadian for granted and I hope that one day soon I will see all my American counterparts with the same rights, both at state level and federally.
