Sharing some parent-facing stroller love (Review & PsIP)

Not too long ago there was a thread about parent-facing strollers. I was highly interested because we currently have 2 strollers in our basement that we never use because of the fact that E & I can't see each other when he's in them.
Mostly we babywear when out, but I'm trying to get my butt back into shape, so I have a need for a stroller for walking & jogging (hopefully, eventually...) at the park. There were several recommendations, but ultimately I decided to buy the Kolcraft Contours Options.
I picked this one for two main reasons: 1) Price. I purchased this stroller for $115 off of Amazon. There were more expensive options that I'm sure are very nice, but since I only plan on using this stroller for exercising, I didn't want to spend a ton of money on it. 2) Three wheel design & moveable seat. I like this type of wheel design for strollers, it has nice big wheels & is easy to push. I also like that what makes it parent facing is that the seat is reversible. I looked at the Graco Flip It stroller, where the seat stays stationary & the handle flips to make it parent facing, but it seemed that it would be hard to steer since the back wheels when facing out are stationary & when you flip the handle these become the front wheels, so you're essentially pusing it backwards. If that makes sense.
We used it for the first time today. It was 43 degrees in my neck of the woods today, so E & I ventured out for a walk. We loved it!

Overall, I'm happy with it. It is big & can't be collapsed with the seat in the rear facing position, but I don't mind that too much. I put it in my trunk in 2 pieces - the stroller frame & then the seat. It's really only an extra second to pop the seat on.
Anyway, just wanted to share our experience! I hope that other stroller companies will recognize the need for mama's to be able to see their babies when in strollers & maybe soon there will be more options available.

I do not know if it is actually a jogging stroller. I'm not a jogger (I just aspire to be one), so that part wasn't important to me. It has the same shape as the actual jogging stroller that we have, but come to think of it, the wheels are different. The jogger has tires that you can put air in, like bike tires & this one does not. The tires are nice, they aren't like that cheap plastic on some wagons I've seen, but they aren't rubber filled with air.
It is NOT a jogger. We used one with DD when she was younger and loved it, but it is definitely not for that type of exercise.
Another option that will be coming out in March is the Quinny Zapp Xtra, if anyone is looking for a travel stroller. More pricey, but it is super compact and lightweight. We have the older model and will be purchasing the Xtra seat for our frame. It folds up small enough to fit underneath bus and train seats and it is so light that I can carry my (30 pound) daughter in one arm and the stroller in the other while I walk up the stairs or an escalator. The new seat will be able to parent-face and will fit a toddler up to 50 pounds.
