Still nothing!!!

I'm just venting that I had a doctor's appointment this morning and still am not dilated at all! I know it's still early but with all the contractions I've been having I thought for sure that was helping it move along!

    Unfortunately even if you are dilated, it doesn't mean baby is going to come any sooner.  I wish I would have asked my doctor to hold off on internals until I am 40 weeks.

    Are you thinned out or effaced at all???  The midwives at my dr's office suggested using evening primrose oil taking some pills orally and then inserting one vaginally and I've had two babies so far and USUALLY my cervix is hard as a rock doing nothing up until delivery day and I always have csections but this time I'm actually soft and thinning out not yet dilated but the pills seem to be working.
