You ladies are awesome at giving honest opinions that I value... SO here's my blog link with all of the ideas I have in my head for the nursery. I'm having a hard time figuring out what to do for the walls. I have the crib (Graco lauren in expresso), the orange crib sheet, the dressers done ( a pic of one of the drawers is in my blog)... but what for the walls? Take a look and let me know your thoughts either on there or on here.. I'd really appreciate it! 8 1/2 weeks or less to make it happen! I have a drs appt this afternoon with a bunch of questions for her

I really like all of them...the one that stood out the most to me was the 2nd one (I think it was 2nd) with the big waves on the bottom half of the walls. I just thought that was really different.

I couldn't find it online, but I got a "Surf's Up" wall decal from World Market last summer. You seem waaaaaay craftier than me so you might not want something that easy/simple, but it was cute & looked like an old, vintage metal sign. It was pretty big maybe 2'x3'. I have no idea if they still have them at World Market, but maybe as I am sure they are already getting a lot of their spring & summer stuff.

P.S. I really wish I was as creative as you! (even just a little!)

LOVE the grass skirt on the window, but I probably wouldn't do it on the bed if you're going to have him on the floor in that room at all...I know if I had anything like that around my boys, it would be irresistible for them to destroy lol.

I really like the striped fabric and I think a pillow is a good way to go - that way if you end up hating it, it's not like you reupholstered an entire chair.

Definitely put up a surfboard somewhere.

I'm not crazy about the netting, but only because netting that gets dusty looks pretty bad. If you're a better cleaner than I am then go for it lol.

I like the "coast" sign (but with Grayson's name).

I don't know if you're considering the waves painted around the room, but I freaking LOVE that.

For other artwork, if you have a surfboard hanging on the wall, I'm not sure I'd replicate that in prints as well. Maybe a textured print of waves, a palm tree, etc.
