This is the monitor we own and I just got an email about a recall.  Here is the link if anyone else owns this monitor  https://www.toysrusinc.com/safety/recalls/rechargeable-batteries-used-with-slim-secure/?csm=179703622&csc=1268713&csa=180030060&csu=1271514

Re: Recall on Summer Infant Slim n Secure baby monitors

  • I got the email since that is the monitor we have but the link won't load - too many people on it I'm guessing. The Summer website says it is a problem with the battery on 02800 and 02805 models. No clue what else since I can't get any links to work....
  • Loading the player...
  • I got the link to work finally.  I have tried to fill out the form for a new battery but it keeps saying "Service Unavailable" when I hit submit so I'll just do it later. Here's what it says on Summer's website:

  • Really? They expect me to not use the only monitor we have for 5-7 days until they send us a replacement battery? Unacceptable.
  • I filled out the form and they are sending the battery and an envelope to send back the other battery.  I am certainly going to keep using my monitor until I get the replacement one!
  • Thank you very much for the information!
