So we have a contract on our house in Centreville. DH works in Chester. We are probably going to rent in Stevensville/Chester area for a year (hopefully no more). We are looking at a forclosure in Grasonville tonight though just to see.

Any recs out there what schools are best etc.? We want to find our forever home out in that area but want to know as much about the schools as possible.

I will also have to rethink daycare now, I need to find someone that only wants to do 2 days per week.

Congrats!!! We just settled on our foreclosure in Stevensville in December. I don't really know much about the schools in Grasonville. I just know about the schools in Stevensville and there aren't that many! Pretty much if you are on the north side of 50 you go to Stevensville Elem and KI middle ( I think those are the names) and if you are on the south side of 50 you go to Matapeake schools.

I am wondering when to begin my daycare search since everything seems to be much slower there than on the western shore. I just don't want the providers I call to think I am crazy for calling for daycare that I won't be using until August!

I found a woman on CL a while back who was shocked I called so early but it is good to start early I think. But she still spoke to me offered references etc. I just said I know it is tough to find infant spots and she agreed.

We had someone in Centreville who would do it 2 days per week and MIL who is in Arnold was going to watch him but now I don't know what we are going to do, I think 5 days is to much for MIL.

I have heard good things about matapeake, I would be happy if we ended up in that school district even though DH isn't thrilled with KI high.
